Cold damp garages can play hell on your precious classic car, whilst you wait for the sunshine to return! Silica Gel Bags can be strategically placed within the interior of the car. These will reduce the internal humidity thus lessen the likely hood of mould, damp and corrosion. In order to protect the exterior,Container Dri® II and ProDriPole Container Desiccant can be used to lower the humidity around the exterior surfaces of the vehicle.

 

The use of silica gel desiccant bags provides an economic way to protect against moisture damage during transit and storage. These bags are filled with non-indicating beaded silica gel desiccant with capacities ranging from 0.5g to 2.5kg.

 

A combination of adsorbents can also be supplied which enables humidity adsorption capacities of up to 200% by weight. This makes them suitable for us in 20 and 40 foot containers, garages & caravans.

 

The addition of a 5 Level Card & Humidity Indicator will provide a visual indication of relative humidity level within the packaging or enclosure. This provides an important check to ensure that the desiccant is still active.
